	According to GAMA (Gas Appliance Manufacturers Association), the first criteria for selecting a water heater is 'first hour' (how much hot water can be produced in the first hour of operation) rating. When we looked at all the statistics, we found that our standard 40 gallon gas, short and tall, water heaters provide a first hour delivery of 71 gallons in short models and gallons in tall models.
